Pollution caused by plastic bags has become a major issue throughout Africa. In Ghana, we partnered with Game, a large electricals chain, to promote the use of non-disposable bags, encouraging customers to re-use cloth bags. In Rwanda, the government has actually banned all use of plastic bags to tackle the problem.
