We are working hard to reduce the effects of climate change by raising awareness of the importance of our forests, and planting trees to preserve and extend them

In a partnership with the Mas Arboles ('More Trees') Foundation in Spain, Tigo Bolivia is working with local governments in the Santa Cruz department to protect Bolivia's forests. The aim is to reduce the effects of climate change through the preservation and enhancement of these essential ecosystems. The project includes reforestation as well as extensive campaigns to raise awareness and change people's behaviour to reduce their environmental impact. As part of this initiative we also provide sustainable employment opportunities in these regions. We plan to roll out this program across four more areas of Santa Cruz in the years ahead.
