In El Salvador, Tigo runs a mentoring program. Tigo staff, including all the senior management, give up their own time every month to act as a personal mentor to students as they pass through high school and begin to think about their careers. The mentors provide a sounding board for students, and give advice based on their own experiences to enable them to think about what career they may wish to pursue and how to prepare for it. This is not only very beneficial for the children, but it also contributes to the personal development of our people.
