We have a wide-ranging educational program in Colombia, covering everything from computer rooms and internet access to books and reading

In Colombia we have been supporting a number of successful educational projects for local communities. We have donated fully equipped computer rooms, as well as the provision of internet service for two years to three educational institutions in economically depressed areas, from which over 3,000 children will benefit. Tigo Colombia also donated 111 high quality computers and flat screens to the Computers to Educate program led by the ICT Ministry. We have an extensive libraries program, where we provide books for young children in the poorest areas. Our staff also engage with these communities through reading events to promote literacy.
