Tigo Hour has become a fundamental part of our CSR activities in Paraguay – engaging our people and customers in a common cause

In Paraguay, we support a wide range of educational causes through our flagship 'Tigo Hour' program. We engage our own employees and our customers in a number of events, designed to raise awareness of a given cause and to raise money for it through the purchase of airtime. The value of all airtime purchased during a Tigo Hour is then donated to a specific community program. Projects we have supported include: distance learning for rural communities, the provision of books and other materials to schools, professional training to people with disabilities, environmental awareness workshops, and the provision of internet access for educational purposes.
